Ladies, can we talk?  No, I mean really talk without putting on airs and pretending to be someone else.  The kind of talk you have on girls’ night when you put your hair in a ponytail and pour a glass of wine and just be yourself for a few hours.
Yes, relax and take the makeup off, and I don’t just mean the stuff on your face.  As women, we try to fit in everyone’s expectations of who we should be and in the course of time, we lose who we really are.  We have mastered the mask of shielding our pain, our insecurities, our dreams, and our desire in some cases just to satisfy someone else.
I came to tell you the Power you possess knows no boundaries, but in order to unleash your Brilliance, you must embrace your Uniqueness.  You will never know self-love in its fullness until you have self-appreciation.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see?  Are you plagued with thoughts of what they said about you may be true?  Maybe you aren’t good enough or smart enough or pretty enough to accomplish what you want.
Stop it right there!!
Whatever happened in your past is just that, IN YOUR PAST.  Leave it there.  Anyone who thought so little of you does not deserve a seat at your table of truth.
Lady, take it from me, I have spent 65 years on this earth and have seen and been involved in enough trauma to know what I am talking about.  You are not a mistake and again, as a woman, you possess strength and resilience unequalled to any other living creature.  Now I can tell you this all day long, but until you can look yourself in the mirror and believe it about yourself, you won’t excel in your full potential.   I know there have been hard times and failures, even for some of you, unimaginable abuse.  But all that goes to prove I am right because you are still here.  You may feel you are barely making it, but YOU ARE STILL HERE!
It is time to heal, time to forgive, time to move beyond the past and step into your rightful place as the incredible person you are.  It doesn’t matter what they did or what you did.  The thing that matters is what are you going to do now.  Stop emulating what you see on TV or social media.  Stop imitating the person you admire or think you should act like.
It is time to unveil the real you.  The rare jewel unlike any other in the world that you are.  There is a reason why we are all uniquely different.  It is because we each have a distinctive role to play in the success of others.
If you don’t show up as your authentic self, someone (you included) is going to miss out on the wonder of you!  Girl, it is time you unmask yourself and be uniquely you!  You were created to be a light, stop trying to fit in.  When light walks into the room, darkness must go.  Go forth and Unleash the Power of your BRILLIANCE!  Take your rightful seat at the table of Authority and be confident that is where you belong!
