I started my company GLOSSLAB with a mission to modernize the manicure and the nail space. Before conceiving the concept, I was working at a hedge fund, and found it nearly impossible to find an efficient manicure experience. 
In 2018, after the birth of my second daughter, I was hit with the idea to start a hygiene-focused, efficient, and membership-based nail salon concept.  I worked with a team of experts, and thus, the first GLOSSLAB was born in the Flatiron district of New York. A manicure to me is about more than just nails, it’s about empowerment. I believe that if you look polished, you feel good. And if you feel good, you do good. This has been GLOSSLAB’s mission from the start.
Manicures have always been an essential part of my week. I created GLOSSLAB to ethically and honestly change the narrative around the nail salon industry. GLOSSLAB is innovative, efficient, and hygiene-focused, with completely waterless services and hospital grade sterilization.

GLOSSLAB’s hygiene-first, waterless, and membership based studios also feature technology-enhanced services such as online booking, cashless payment and contactless check-in and check-out. GLOSSLAB patrons can choose from a curated group of performance-based products at the forefront of beauty and nail trends including best-in-class, long-lasting gel and non-toxic polishes. 
Hygiene is GLOSSLAB’s guarantee. Every tool is scrubbed and sterilized to hospital-grade requirements; nail files and buffers are for individual use only. All high-touch areas including the nail station, polish wall, and front desk are extensively cleaned with a hospital-grade cleaner. Our manicures and pedicures are waterless, which is not only more hygienic, but better for the environment and keeps polish lasting longer. In addition to focusing on the client experience, I also believed it was equally important to provide employees with a safe working environment, fair wages, and a true career path. All appointments are booked online, and membership is for unlimited monthly manicures + pedicures – along with a la carte services, including designs. 
We are lucky to be supported by so many incredible investors including hospitality entrepreneur David Grutman, Keke Palmer and The Chainsmokers. 
We have also been a must-go destination for top celebs including Jennifer Garner, Minka Kelly, Neil Patrick Harris, and Matt James. 
GLOSSLAB currently has five NYC locations in Tribeca, the Upper East Side (70th and 84th), Flatiron and the West Village, with more opening soon including: Noho, Miami, FL, Hoboken, NJ, Bethesda, MD, Georgetown, Darien, CT and Westport, CT.  For those who can’t get to a studio, we will have a new line of products launching in early 2022!
