The last year of the pandemic has created uncertain and isolating times, which have impacted our wellbeing in many ways. It’s made us more aware of just how important our health really is, and what can happen when it’s not intact.
According to Mental Health America’s State of Mental Health in America report for 2021, the prevalence of mental health issues is increasing or worsening, and there is an unmet need for mental health treatment that has not declined since 2011. You can probably guess what my next point is going to be: It’s worse for Black, Indigenous and People of Color.
The skin presents the mask and persona of an individual, informing others of his possible ethnicity, genealogy, and even personality. Its determining factors in one’s attractiveness are also not the least important, with a whole culture transforming the skincare routine into a ritual of the highest form.
