Using the site

By using swaay.com you agree to these terms. If you disagree with them, please do not use the site.

You may read, link to, and share our articles. You may not scrape the site at scale, republish articles in full, resell our content, or use it to train a commercial model without written permission.

Contributor accounts

Contributor accounts are for the individual named on the account. Keep your sign-in link private. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

We may suspend an account that is used to publish plagiarised work, undisclosed paid placement, or material that violates these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of anything you submit. By submitting a pitch or an article you grant Swaay Media a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, distribute and archive it, and to use extracts to promote it.

You confirm that the work is yours, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, that any quotations are attributed, and that you have disclosed any payment or relationship connected to what you have written.

We edit. Anything we publish may be edited for accuracy, length and house style.

Pitches

We read every pitch and cannot respond to all of them. Submitting a pitch creates no obligation on either side and no employment relationship.

Ideas are not protected by copyright. We may publish a piece on a subject you pitched, commissioned from someone else or written in-house, particularly where the subject is already in the news.

Editorial independence and affiliate links

Some links earn us a commission. Commercial relationships never determine our editorial conclusions, and sponsored work is labelled as sponsored wherever it appears.
