The change you're looking for isn't over there in the distance. The change you're looking for is a purpose, person, or lifestyle you already have an affinity to. If you have no desire for fashion, your life isn't going to suddenly change by becoming a fashion designer. The shift you want comes from taking steps toward what you desire but are too afraid or have no strategy to go after.
Everything that is truly meant for you comes easier than you think. It's when you doubt and assume you're undeserving of everything you want that things become complicated. Life isn't holding you back from what's meant for you. Life gives you what you believe you deserve. Life gives you what you go after. The secret is that you must go after the things you know in your soul belong to you, the things that, though they take work and effort, feel absolutely worth it.

The things that come easy are what you look forward to waking up for each morning.

Right now, it might feel like you have nothing to look forward to. Sometimes it isn't easy to pinpoint what you want. Instead, tap into everything you don't want for your life. If you don't want to live paycheck to paycheck, you'll start looking forward to creating a budget and saving money. If you hate your job, you'll start looking forward to finding new ways to expand your skill to transition to a different role. Sometimes it isn't motivation we need, but clarity.

The things that come easy transcend your doubt, overthinking and depressive days.

The things that come easy won't feel comfortable every day, but you'll still hold on to your vision even on the worse days. You have an unrelentless drive to stay the course. You may lose your way for some time, but when you find yourself again, your passion remains. You change your life by refusing to let your negative thoughts distract you from the consistency it takes to achieve your goals.

The things that come easy  have no timeline.

Sure, you would love to have everything you want right now. You'd love for the pieces of your life to fall compactly into place. That's not how it works.
Often, what we want is waiting for a change in us. We need the skills and mental fortitude to handle the responsibilities that come with everything that's meant for us. It takes time to build these skills, and for each person, it's different. The average length of time it takes to reach success, whatever that looks like, is eight years. When you're set on a goal you're willing to put in the time towards it, whether you achieve it in 3 years or 13. You may pursue other ventures along the way, but untimely you never let that one passion out of your heart.
If you want to experience a major change in your life this year you must focus on what comes easy. Easy doesn't mean your goals don't take every bit of painstaking effort. It means you say "yes" each time you have to go through the tasks needed to get what you want. Easy doesn't mean your goal has no value. It means it isn't something you even try to quantify. Don't try to walk in someone else's path or follow someone else's dream. Your life change comes when you focus on your goal, believe in yourself, and take sustained steps to achieving not only want you want but what comes easy.
