Summer is the best time to get out and explore new places, so we have compiled a list of some amazing destinations you should definitely go to this summer. Summer holidays are great for getting away from work and school, but they can also be expensive if you're not careful. Luckily, there are plenty of affordable options on our list that will allow you to save money while still having an unforgettable experience!
The Greek Islands
The Greek Islands is one of the most popular destinations for summer vacationers. Summer is an opportune time to visit because it's not too hot and there are still opportunities to enjoy the sunshine on these idyllic islands. With a Mediterranean climate that never gets colder than 60 degrees Fahrenheit or hotter than 95 degrees in the daytime, Greece is always looked at as being the perfect place to escape during this season.
Greece is also known as an island destination with over 6000 beautiful beaches throughout its territory. The majority of them offer white sand and clear water good for swimming or snorkeling. It has been said that some of Greece’s best beaches can be found on Crete alone where over 200 beaches can be found.
Rome, Italy
Rome is an amazing place to visit during the summer! If you are looking for a great vacation spot, then Rome should be at the top of your list. World-famous sites like The Colosseum and Fontana di Trevi will make you feel like royalty as they were originally used by Roman emperors. You'll see some of the most beautiful countrysides in Europe while exploring this ancient city with its ruins and churches.
Summertime also means that every café on the streets has outdoor seating so it's perfect to enjoy a cappuccino or glass of wine al fresco - literally "in the fresh." Despite being one of Italy's largest cities, Rome isn't too crowded because people prefer smaller towns over metropolitan areas.
If you are looking for an amazing cultural experience, then Rome is where it's at! There's no other place in the world like this ancient city and everything from its people to architecture will make your trip unforgettable. Summertime means being able to explore more of Italy without feeling too hot because most Italians don't use air conditioning so if anything they enjoy cooler temperatures than North America or Canada!
Aruba
Aruba is one of the best Summer destinations because it has breathtaking beaches and an amazing culture. In addition, Aruba being close to Miami makes it a great place to visit in order to escape the cold weather during the summer months. The country offers spectacular natural beauty with crystal clear water that can be seen from miles away as well as many different types of marine life. There are also plenty of activities for those who want something more than just sitting on a beach chair all day such as golfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, or kayaking amongst other things.
One thing I was really surprised about while visiting Aruba was how there were some hidden gems like hiking trails where you could see the beauty of the island from a new perspective. The Aruba Summer Festival is also an event that takes place in July which features exciting events such as concerts, fireworks, and parades to name just a few activities.
Apart from being an excellent summer destination for those who want something different than your regular sunbathing vacation, there are plenty of other great reasons why you should visit this incredible country during the hot season like their amazing hospitality and delicious cuisine!
Paris, France
Paris is the most romantic city in the world, and I think it's a place everyone should visit at least once. From its beautiful architecture to the delicious croissant (you'll never want anything else again), Paris will be sure to leave you feeling refreshed.
If you're looking for some culture while visiting France or just need something new from your vacation this summer, don't forget about museums like The Louvre, Cinémathèque Française, Musée d'Orsay, etc.– these are all incredible places that offer great art exhibitions and film screenings on top of their stunning buildings and spaces!
The Maldives
The Maldives is a beautiful country in the Indian Ocean with over 1200 different islands and countless pristine beaches. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience while on your summer vacation, be sure to take some time for snorkeling or scuba diving off of these amazing shores!
In addition to exploring the many natural wonders that The Maldives has to offer, there's also plenty of delicious food and nightlife if you want something more than sunbathing! Be sure not to miss out on trying some kokos curry (fish cooked in coconut milk) as well as drinking fresh coconuts mixed with sugar cane juice!
Spain
Spain is a country in Southern Europe, with land borders to the south-east and north-west of Spain. It shares maritime borders to the west with Portugal; Andorra lies within its southern border. The Portuguese city of Porto's metropolitan area extends into western Catalonia on both banks of the River Douro at opposite ends: Vila Nova de Gaia (the right bank) and Matosinhos (on the left).
If you're looking for places with amazing beaches or where it doesn't rain all day then these are some of my top picks! Summer can also be really hot so make sure your trip includes cool waterfalls and lots of shade (and maybe even air conditioning). Happy exploring!
When it comes to deciding which place in the world you want to visit, there are plenty of options. You can stay on land and explore a country or take off for an international destination where you'll be able to experience new cultures and languages without ever leaving your home continent.
The Greek Islands offer their own form of culture that's often different from what we know here in North America; Rome is full of history with some amazing food; Aruba has white-sand beaches perfect for lounging around all day long; Paris offers its famous French cuisine; and finally, The Maldives have beautiful turquoise waters surrounding them. Take advantage of this opportunity to travel during the summer months so you don't miss out!
