You need to clean your tools every time you use them. Power tool work can get messy and very dusty. You can make them different sizes and shapes to align with your tool collection. Leave some space for the wires and plugs to fit into as well. This way, your tools will be up high and away from any little hands or wandering pets.

Hand tools need to be cleaned just like power tools. Wipe them down, check for any damage and store them away. Tradespeople tend to use smaller hand tools every day for various jobs. You could keep all of your go-to tools in a tool box that’s easy to grab and go for a busy day’s work. You may include a few different types of pliers, a spanner and different sized screwdrivers. Smaller tools also need to be cleaned after every use – but they don’t require too much space to store.
