The Srinivasa Mangapuram History dates back to ancient times when it was ruled by various dynasties such as the Mauryas, Satavahanas, Chalukyas, and Pallavas. However, the village gained prominence during the rule of the Vijayanagara Empire, when the temple of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy was built in the 12th century.
