Stroller accessories do more than just pimp your baby’s ride. They might not be a necessity, but many parents find that a few add-ons can make being out and about with a little one a whole lot easier and way less stressful. After all, having a baby shouldn’t mean that you are bound to your house and can never go anywhere. As it is, it’s already extremely hard being a new parent, so who couldn’t use a little less hassle?
Here is a list of 6 stroller accessories that make life a little easier and make the joy of everyday adventuring more of a breeze. Just be sure that they work with your stroller before you invest in any of them.

1. A Weather Cover for Stroller

Weather can shift from partly cloudy to stormy faster than we can predict. Being prepared for anything is the best course of action. A cover to keep your little one dry and protected from all of the elements is important. It is especially important for parents who live in the city as you will likely be doing a lot of walking. There are options out there with a variety of features. Some really good ones to look out for are those with ventilated sides, a large front window, and a snap pocket in the back for your umbrella to keep you and your little one dry on rainy days. If you have an older stroller there are plenty of universal options out there with these features. Find one that works for you and be sure to measure before you buy anything.
Recommended addition – A Stroller Bunting
If you’re going to be outside a fair bit, especially when winter rolls around, you should consider getting a stroller bunting. It’s like a sleeping bag for little ones that fit right into your stroller seat to keep them warm and toasty, especially if you live in an area where winter gets a bit tense. It eliminates the need for carrying multiple loose blankets and jackets that could fall out of your bag or take up the space you could use for other more important things. Be sure to find one that is machine washable.

2. Stroller Organizer

There are many things that can help you organize your things when taking your child in a stroller but a stroller organizer keeps your essentials, such as keys, phones, water bottles, etc, together and easily within reach while you’re out and about. Get one that hangs from the handlebars, with adjustable straps, preferably Velcro, as these will fit most strollers. Some even come with insulated cup holders and additional zippered compartments that detach.
Recommended Addition - Extra Hook
You never have enough hands to carry everything. Consider a hook so that you can easily carry your groceries, shopping bags, diaper bag, and anything else you need to carry around.

3. Snack Tray

You and I both know that, without fail, your little one is going to get thirsty and hungry while you’re out and about. They get bored and a snack is a great way for them to occupy themselves and pass the time. A snack tray is a perfect thing to keep a few small snacks and something to drink handy and easily accessible.

4. Stroller Toy

Bending down a million times in a day to pick up toys that have been gleefully flung around and onto the ground gets tiring and can even make you incredibly frustrated. Getting a stroller toy that has a built-in loop and ring that makes it easily and securely attachable to a stroller really solves this issue and makes walking more enjoyable for both of you.

5. Stroller Board

Have 2 little ones, but only on a stroller? Need a stroller that can accommodate two kids? If you have a baby and a toddler who always wants to walk, a stroller board is a right thing for you. It’s less expensive than buying a double stroller and is a good option for toddlers that just need to rest once in a while. Most options can hold up to 62 pounds and are for kids who are aged two to five.

6. Travel Bag

Are you more of a traveling parent and need to travel with your stroller? If you are, you are going to want to protect your stroller from the roughness of plane travel. Get yourself a sturdy bag that is water-resistant and made from heavy-duty material, like polyester that will shield and protect it from stains and damage. You can find options for single and double strollers, but again, measure before you buy anything. For even more convenience, look for one with a handle and/or adjustable straps.
These are a few must-have stroller accessories that make getting around much easier and a far more enjoyable experience. Being a new parent doesn’t have to be a struggle.
