With weddings back in full swing officially, 2022 is the year of pre-wedding season outfit planning. Many of us have not been to a wedding in a while and so remembering how and what to wear can be a little daunting. With weddings possibly more of a big deal than ever before, it gives us all an excuse to dress up and go all out.
You want to dress appropriately for the venue, formality of the wedding but also time of year, it's a lot to figure out. Our tips for all year round weddings will inspire you to try something new when you are not too sure. From stand out pieces that will make a statement, to classic midi lengths that's fail safe for any wedding day.

Florals Never Fail

As Meryl Streep once said ‘Florals in Spring..groundbreaking’ , but we think why keep florals in Spring? And yes, florals in spring may be a little obvious, but florals should be worn all year round and if it's not broken, dont fix it. When choosing florals you may want them to differ depending on the time of year, for example choose a darker based print when attending an autumn/winter wedding and a more bright/pastel base for spring/summer. A statement floral dress or jumpsuit is an easy all in one floral moment, or if you want to step outside your comfort zone, try floral print trousers or a blazer.

A Midi is a Safe Bet

Whenever your wedding, a midi length wedding guest dress or skirt is the safest bet. Whether it's a religious ceremony, manor house or registry office, a midi length like those here will suit all.  This versatile length is ideal for occasions when you will be sitting down for a long period of time as well as adding comfort to your look. If you are looking for something a bit extra in your midi then opt for a dress or skirt with a wrap design or slit, this allows you to show some movement in your outfit as well as a little leg peek.

 A Bag for Essentials

A bag is not only your most practical accessory but also can take your outfit up to the next level. Even though you are at a wedding and will most likely only be in one or two places for the day, a bag holds all the essentials for the event. But just because it needs to hold all your must-haves, doesn't mean it needs to be bland. A clutch bag is the best option for a bag at a wedding, although crossbody bags and shoulder bags can hold more of your possessions, this could disrupt your outfit and take away from the full look. A large block colour clutch in shades such as red, pink, yellow or blue can help bring out smaller details in your outfit. A dramatic glitter slouchy clutch is also an accessory that you can have year after year and never go out of style.  A clutch bag is the best option for a bag at a wedding, although crossbody bags and shoulder bags can hold more of your possessions, this could disrupt your outfit and take away from the full look.
